Very North American centric, which is to be expected and is fine for the fundamentals。 There is a lot of trader psychology and emphasis on discipline, emotionless trading and use of the candlestick to identify trades。 I have no doubt that day trading could be fun if you could get into it。 The barriers for me personally are timezone, country and taxes (he doesn't mention tax - is capital gains on shares not a thing in the US/Canada? That is 30% of CGT events in Australia)。 Very North American centric, which is to be expected and is fine for the fundamentals。 There is a lot of trader psychology and emphasis on discipline, emotionless trading and use of the candlestick to identify trades。 I have no doubt that day trading could be fun if you could get into it。 The barriers for me personally are timezone, country and taxes (he doesn't mention tax - is capital gains on shares not a thing in the US/Canada? I started reading this but never finished。I stopped on the chapter that said if you did not use hotkeys then you could not be an effective day trader。 Which is probably true。 I might come back to the book。。。。。

Absolutely brilliant。 This is the first book that I ever read about day trading and was awestruck by the simple way in which many complex concepts have been thoroughly explained by the writer。 After reading just one book I feel confident to go out and start trading on my own (against the author's well -intentioned advice to practice in a simulator for at least three months before going live)。 The book starts off with a very intriguing introduction to day trading using the famous Monty Hall Probl Absolutely brilliant。 This is the first book that I ever read about day trading and was awestruck by the simple way in which many complex concepts have been thoroughly explained by the writer。 After reading just one book I feel confident to go out and start trading on my own (against the author's well -intentioned advice to practice in a simulator for at least three months before going live)。 The book starts off with a very intriguing introduction to day trading using the famous Monty Hall Problem。 We are then introduced to candlesticks, support and resistance levels and the jargon。 The author then explains the trading platform he uses and how to set it up; which filters, scanners and labels are necessary。 He then discusses a few common trading strategies which should appeal to newbies and seasoned traders alike。 He says there are tons of strategies and that there is no best strategy。 The best strategy for me may not be the same for you, it all depends on the person's risk-taking ability and personality。 But since decisions have to be made within seconds, it is better to focus on a few tried and tested strategies。 The book ends with risk management techniques which the author rightly points out is more important than learning trading strategies。 Such as never risking more than 2% of your account value in a single trade。 Trading is more about controlling emotions than it is about technical knowledge。 Filled with insights from the author's decorated and lengthy trading career, this is one book you must read if you're interested in the subject。 If nothing else it'd definitely light up the spark; your interest in day-trading which you can pursue further。 It certainly sparked my interest in the subject and if a book can do that then its a winner in my eyes。 This is definitely not the last I'd be reading from this author。 I have also started following him on his Youtube page BearBullTraders where he shares insights every day before the markets open。 。。。more

It's a great read for all new to day trading。 Although my aim is with crypto, a lot of the strategies still apply。 The author does have a point, this is not for everyone。 It's a great read for all new to day trading。 Although my aim is with crypto, a lot of the strategies still apply。 The author does have a point, this is not for everyone。 。。。more

Got this copy after reading the first beginner's guide on "How to day trade for living" by Andrew。 This copy will have slightly more in dept chart study on the different patterns that you can find in day trading。 Some similar content with the first book, I guess those are fundamentals of trading that must be repeated。 Highly recommend to pick up "Hot to day trade for living" before reading this one。 As per expectation from Andrew, very structured, well written and easy to understand。 Highly reco Got this copy after reading the first beginner's guide on "How to day trade for living" by Andrew。 This copy will have slightly more in dept chart study on the different patterns that you can find in day trading。 Some similar content with the first book, I guess those are fundamentals of trading that must be repeated。 Highly recommend to pick up "Hot to day trade for living" before reading this one。 As per expectation from Andrew, very structured, well written and easy to understand。 Highly recommended for anyone thinking of making Day Trading a career。Author also give realistic expectation to readers, it is not a get rich fast scheme。 You will have to put in effort, learning, training, practice。 Best of all there is a community that you can join if you are serious about it。 And you will hear and get reply from Andrew himself! How awesome is that!BearBullTraders community founded by Andrew is an amazing after read support。 You can find support and learn from other traders。 MUST Read the first book before this, if you are thinking of getting into trading or in doubt is this for you。 Its a book of clarity! 。。。more

Read his first book on day trading it was a good book for beginners but second book (this one), is almost repetitive of the first, only few changes here and there ,one new strategy added and some few new content。

Very grounded adviceAndrew Aziz has written a very good guide that does not try to make day trading look easier or more difficult than it actually is。 Recommended, especially in the stay at home age

Whilst there was a lot of recapping from the first book, it's nothing to be bitter over。 Any part that I felt was too basic I would just kind of skip over to get the gist of it。 That being said I read the majority of this book and find it has an awesome amount of knowledge in it。 Even more important, a good amount of questions or uncertainty's I had were answered by this book。 Which to me is ideallll! Good Follow-UpThis is the second book I read from the author and has some additional information compared to the first book。 There is some repetition of topics (author indicated it) which I could quickly glance through。 Numerous examples for each strategy was useful to look at for understanding。

Great Book! This is an awesome book。 Andrew did a superb job,。 He gives you several strategies and explain and even show you lots of charts。 I learned why I suckered at trading。 I now keep a journal of my trades and honestly my trading has improved。 I don't make the same mistakes。 This is a must read book, do yourself a favor and purchase the book。 Great Book! This is an awesome book。 Andrew did a superb job,。 He gives you several strategies and explain and even show you lots of charts。 I learned why I suckered at trading。 I now keep a journal of my trades and honestly my trading has improved。 I don't make the same mistakes。 This is a must read book, do yourself a favor and purchase the book。 。。。more

RepeatedIf you read the first book you can skip this and learn about the new strategies somewhere else。I liked the first book from this author and expected to learn something advanced。 But most of the content is same as the first book except detailed illustration of trading strategies。
